Long Island, New York: Eat Pray Love Sundays

Eat. Long Island Iced Tea.
What's a trip to Long Island without tasting their namesake Long Island Iced Tea? Dave and Buster's Signature TnTea blends "ABSOLUT, Tanqueray gin and Bacardi rum, then add Grand Marnier, sweet 'n' sour and Coca-Cola, served in a souvenir glass that's yours to keep." How's that for a dynamite version?

Pray. VFW 550.
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 550. "This memorial is dedicated in memory of all the veterans who gave of themselves, that we may remain free."

Pray. Veterans Memorial.

Love. Vineyards.
I never thought Long Island had vineyards, but what a surprise! Thus, our visit turned into a wine-tasting trip. Cheers. *clink*

Eat Pray Love Sundays is a series I'm doing, highlighting one destination and how it nourishes travelers and locals alike.
"Eat" features a location's food; how it nourishes the physical body.
"Pray" pertains to anything about worship or nourishing one's spirit.
"Love" is such a broad topic that it covers the rest--people, nature, culture. Those that nourish the soul.

Next Sunday, I'll be putting Zamboanga on the spotlight!
